Interline Cruise Discounts on Costa Cruises
Costa Cruise Lines offers Interline Cruise Discounts on select sailings depending on the occupancy of the ship and sailing date.
This means you may find interline rates on Costa Cruise Lines anywhere from a few weeks in advance to about 6 months out. The sailings in the Caribbean typically have the most lead time versus their sailings in the Med and Europe. They typically do not offer interline rates on all categories on those sailings that do open up for airline employee discounts.
On thing you will want to do once you get booked on a Costa cruise is to go and look at your shore excursion options. You can book many of your shore excurions online with a company we recommend called Port Promotions or by clicking on the link below for Viator.

When Should I Book My Interline Rate on Costa Cruises?
A question on everyone's mind is "How do I get the best rate on Costa Cruise Lines? The answer is.... "It depends". It depends on how flexible you are and how badly you want to go on a particular sailing date and ship.
If you want to just sail on Costa Cruise Lines and don't care which date, ship or itinerary then waiting for a last minute deal will give you a great interline discount. That may mean you are sailing to the Caribbean this weekend or to the Med next week, so you have to be ready to go and when the price drops to what you want to pay then jump on it. Costa normally offers pretty good deals to the Caribbean so there are not many last minute deals as their rates are already pretty low to start with to that destination. The Med and Europe run full so if can find a last minute deal it will be pretty good and you will want o jump on it fast.
But remember just because there is a really good interline rate this week for that sailing next month, does not guarantee the sailing will even be available next week.
On the other hand if your heart is set on a particular sailing date and itinerary then book it as early as you can with an interline agency. (No not all travel agencies are interline travel agencies). Then once you are booked, watch the interline deals as they come out. If and when one comes out for your sailing date, contact your travel agent and see if they can get the price adjusted. Most of the time, if it is before final payment date, they can get it adjusted. Even if final payment date has passed, often they can get a price adjustment, upgrade or a shipboard credit. It doesn't hurt to ask in any case.
By booking far in advance you get the sailing you want, the best cabin and then if that date opens up at interline rates, then you get the great rate. You will all of the way around. But if you hold out for an interline rate and one never comes available then you either have to not go on that date or pay a higher rate than what it probably was priced at back in the beginning as the cruise lines will raise rates as a ship fills up.

Where Do I Book My Interline Cruise Discount?
You will need to book with an "Authorized" interline travel agency. You will want to book with one that DOES NOT CHARGE A BOOKING FEE! Watch out for that. A lot of interline travel agencies charge a booking fee of as much as $50 per person! They usually don't mention this fee when you call for a price quote and don't include it in the initial price they give you over the phone or by email. So be careful. There is no need to pay this fee unless you have lots of extra money.
We recommend that you book with InterlineTravel.com. They have the largest website on the internet for airline employee discounts and THEY DO NOT CHARGE ANY BOOKING FEES! You can reach them online at www.interlinetravel.com or by calling their office at 800 766-2911 or in the DFW Area their number is 817 481-8631. You will need a user name and password to access their site. You can get one by emailing them from your airline work email address or sending them a copy of your airline ID, letter of employment or a copy of a paystub.
